CANCELLATIONS: Due to a very busy schedule, there will be a maximum of two make-up lessons per semester. On my website you will find a rescheduling service where I will post available time slots for make-up lessons. If there is a time that is suitable for you then email me your request and we can set it up. There will be a window of five days, before or after the cancelled lesson, to reschedule. Otherwise the student forfeits that lesson. If you happen to cancel during the last month of the Fall, Winter, or Spring semesters (December for the Fall semester, March for the Winter semester, and June for the Spring semester) there will be no make-up lessons rescheduled during this time. Students are responsible to pay for lessons cancelled without notice.  No refund will be given for no-shows or tardiness. If you think you will be delayed, please call to let me know if you will be coming. If I happen to cancel a lesson I will always make it up and there is no time limit on the rescheduling of the lesson.

Note: “Drop-in” fees will not be accepted - lessons must be paid for on either a monthly basis or by semester. Vacations, sports, or other extracurricular activities does not negate payment for a lesson. You are paying for the time slot and a make-up can be scheduled for the absent lesson.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: In the event that a student wishes to stop lessons, thirty days notice is required. I also reserve the right to discontinue lessons for reasons such as unpaid fees, multiple absences, or lack of interest.

PRACTICE: Practicing your instrument is essential to improvement. Students are responsible and expected to practice any given material from the previous lesson. I will offer practice tips during the lesson and I strongly urge any student or parent to contact me if you have any questions on how to practice or ways to improve their practice routine.

STUDIO PHONE:  The studio phone number is (709) 699-0411.  Please feel free to call between the hours of 9AM and 9PM if you have any cancellations, questions, or need to arrange a conference.  If I am teaching or out when you call, my voicemail will take your message.

It is my sincerest hope that you understand the necessity of establishing a STUDIO POLICY.  If you have questions regarding this policy don't hesitate to call.

Welcome to the Studio.

Best,

Paddy Byrne
